They train almost constantly to improve their skills and to learn new ways to fight fire which is a menace to all. Unfortunately, each year many fire fighters lose their lives protecting us and our property.
Physical training and good health are necessary to fire fighters because they must sometimes carry heavy burdens, including people, down ladders and from burning buildings.
